Experience

FormFactor Inc., 01/01-Present
Development Engineer for the Materials Engineering Group.  Develop and run material characterization tests for a various electroformed alloys.  Examples include: tensile tests, stress relaxation tests, tribometry tests, and wear tests.  Perform failure analysis of product and test specimans using optical, ultrasonic, scanning electron microscopy, and energy dispersive spectrometry methods. 

Intern, FormFactor Inc. (06/2000-08/2000)
Improved heat treatment oven for use in development group by upgrading to P.I.D. controller, improving cooling water system, and simplifying electrical system.  Responsible for designing and machining various fixtures for heat treatment oven and various other requests. 

Student Work Project, California Polytechnic State University (01/2000-03/2000)
ME 428-Senior Design: With group, designed and machined high precision spin coating fixture for electrical engineering department to fix spin coater problem. 

Intern, Basic Vegetable Company (06/1999-08/1999)
Moisture analyzer for dehydrated vegetables.  Responsible for obtaining suitable samples and analyzing for moisture content.  Reported findings to oven operators on an hourly basis for adjustments of oven performance.  Worked 12 hour days, 7 days a week.

Front Suspension Team Leader.  Cal Poly Solar Car Club (1997-2000)
Designed and fabricated, along with 2 team members, a unique and innovative front suspension for the Cal Poly Solar Car.  Design utilized a transverse fiberglass leaf spring in place of the top control arm.
